Travelling through the Monterey County in California or just following the scenic routes (road tripping delight), be sure to take a 17 mile drive around the small Pebble Beach community and take in the magnificent scenic coast. You might even see some deer running by while you drive through the community.

Drive towards the light or simply drive along the coast and you'll run across a few of these. Some are decorated uniquely while others simply show their historical characteristics. Almost all have stood through many decades of ships and stories. You'll find this lighthouse at the Cape Lookout National Seashore in North Carolina.
